NMIMS Indore campus held its 4th annual fest, NMOTSAV'24, from February 26 to 28, 2024. The annual fest is organised every year by the cultural committee of the campus – “SANGAM”. The three-day extravaganza was filled with exciting events and competitions and the grand finale saw young and popular musician Amaal Mallik delight the audience with his hit numbers. NMOTSAV'24 was a resounding success, blending entertainment and education seamlessly. The event not only celebrated the vibrant culture of NMIMS Indore but also provided an enriching experience for all participants.
The festival kicked off with a carnival on February 26 that featured exciting events like Melody Mania, Hawkins Hunt, Pitch It Up, Daredevil Dash, Music Kingdom, Movie Night and Foodpreneur, which was one of the highlights of the event. In Foodpreneur, college students showcased their culinary talents. Transforming into temporary entrepreneurs, they operated food stalls, offering delectable dishes that attracted eager customers. This unique initiative not only allowed participants to hone their culinary skills but also provided valuable insights into the dynamics of entrepreneurship, teaching them how to turn their passion for food into a profitable venture.
Melody Maniasaw participants go down the memory land and charged with excitement as they participated in “Guess That Tune – Movie & TV Edition.” The teams were tested for their knowledge of iconic theme songs from favourite movies and TV series. This lent an added layer of excitement to the fest.
Prom + DJ Night, which had events like the Battle of Bands, Beat Bash, and Kalyana 2.0 was the highlight of day two at NMOTSAV'24. The Battle of Bands saw fierce competition as the air was filled with melodies fromdifferent music genres. Meanwhile, Beat Bash had talented dancers showcase their dance skills in various forms. The performances had the audience riveted to their seats. Kalyana 2.0, a fashion show, was a colourful presentation of the latest trends and designs.
As everyone waited with bated breath, the day of the grand finale of NMOTSAV'24 arrived, packed with an enthralling concert by renowned musician, the young and dynamic, Amaal Mallik. The venue echoed with the beats of his chartbuster hits, even as the audience danced the night away while swaying to the music created by Amaal Mallik. It was a perfect conclusion to three days of festivities.
